About me

Who am I?

I'm a teen from Sydney, Australia who loves reading anything YA fiction. My dream is to become a writer once I've grown up. I dance, all the time. And if I'm not dancing I'm reading, reviewing and writing.(If only writing started with an 'R', that would have been perfect) I'm a very loud person and very chatty, it constantly gets me into trouble. I'm also a red head so my nicknames vary from ranga, carrot, match-stick, blood nut and orangutan. And my friends call me Rica because they couldn't think of anything better. 

My bad habits are cracking my knuckles and biting my lip.  I can dislocate my right shoulder. I love the words crisp and cupped. One of my favorite things to see is Thai laksa being mixed in with vegetables. I have a theory if i was an animal i would be a fox or wolf (excuse the obvious that i would be an orangutan) I love feathers and little birds. I want a library in my house like Belle's from Beauty and the Beast.  And fairy floss and taco's are heavenly <3

   

How did Books are my Boyfriend start??

I started this blog after i read Delirium by Lauren Oliver. I absolutely loved the book, but was devastated at the end. I quickly read Pandemonium the next day, having it be completely opposite to what i expected and wanted. I had so much to say and was venting to my mum about it, and she then suggested that i start a blog because i am always talking to her about my books, complaining about all the things i thought were wrong and practically screaming about my favorite parts.
So, after reading Insurgent, i umped onto blogger and created this blog. And after that it all just kinda slowly bloomed into this.  

And that's how it all started!
